We can supply directly via Trust purchase order, and our procurement pack includes the documentation typically requested when buying via NHS frameworks (DPIA, supplier security questionnaire, ISO 15189 alignment letter, supplier code of conduct). Does the platform support our NHS SAML / UK Federation SSO?

Accepted Answer

Yes — our service provider entity (https://pathologylabtraining.co.uk/saml/sp) is registered and published in the UK Access Management Federation trust fabric. We support persistent and transient NameIDFormats. SAML metadata is available at our metadata endpoint on request.

Question 3

Is data hosted in the UK? Will any PHI/PII be shared with AI vendors?

Accepted Answer

Customer data is hosted on Supabase EU/UK infrastructure. The platform is used for training and assessment, so it does not handle patient-identifiable data by design. Where AI features are used (interview coach, result interpretation), prompts are constructed from training scenarios — no Trust PHI/PII is sent to AI vendors.

Are you registered on the Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT)?

Accepted Answer

We provide a supplier evidence pack designed to support your Trust's DSPT submission. Where the Trust requires a specific DSPT status from the supplier, we are happy to discuss the current state on a call.

Do you provide a DPIA / vendor security questionnaire pre-completed?

Accepted Answer

Yes — the procurement document generator on this page produces a DPIA template, supplier security questionnaire, ISO 15189 alignment letter, and supplier code of conduct, pre-populated with our platform details so your IG / IT / Procurement teams can review rather than start from scratch.

How does pricing scale with user count? Annual vs multi-year?

Accepted Answer

Four tiers from 25 to 200 users, billed annually per Trust. Multi-year commitments are available — speak to us about discounted multi-year pricing if that suits your Trust's budgeting cycle.

Can we tier up or down mid-year?

Accepted Answer

Tier-up mid-year is supported and pro-rated. Tier-down is supported at renewal. We will not throttle access mid-year if a department genuinely needs more seats.

Question 8

What's the rollout timeline from contract to first user?

Accepted Answer

Typically 2-4 weeks for a Trust deployment: Week 1 account + procurement docs, Week 2 IG sign-off, Week 3 SSO + admin training, Week 4 first cohort live. Faster is possible if your IG process is already familiar with platform vendors.

Is content mapped to HCPC Standards of Proficiency and the IBMS Specialist Portfolio?

Yes. Content is mapped against the 15 HCPC Standards of Proficiency for Biomedical Scientists (Sept 2023 edition) and aligned to the IBMS Registration Training Portfolio and Specialist Portfolio competency frameworks.

Do you provide reporting suitable for IBMS competency verification?

Yes — the platform produces per-user audit-ready reports showing competency areas covered, questions attempted, virtual workstation completions, and CPD time logged. These can be attached as evidence to IBMS portfolio entries.

What's the trial → conversion process?

Accepted Answer

Start with a 30-day trial (60 days on Professional, 90 days on Enterprise) with full platform access. At the end of the trial, your admin converts via the Stripe quote-to-PO flow or directly via card, or we issue an invoice on Trust purchase order. No automatic conversion — you decide.

What support do we get during and after onboarding?

Accepted Answer

Starter includes email support. Standard adds priority email + implementation guidance. Professional adds a dedicated support channel and training workshops. Enterprise adds a dedicated account manager and quarterly business reviews.

Question 13

What happens to our data if we don't renew?

Accepted Answer

On non-renewal you receive a CSV export of all user-level data (progress, results, reports) before access ends. After a 90-day grace period for export retrieval, data is permanently deleted per GDPR principles.
