Account, Pricing & Access
A short tour of the small bits of personalisation we offer, plus the things people commonly expect that we deliberately do not offer (yet).
Go to Account Settings → Profile. You can change:
Click Save Changes. Your name appears throughout the app (greetings, certificates, portfolio header). The change is instant.
The Email Address field on the same page is read-only by design — see Account Security for the supported email-change process.
We do not currently support uploading a profile picture or avatar. The app displays your initials (derived from your first and last name) wherever a user image would normally appear.
If your initials look wrong, fix your First/Last Name on Account Settings → Profile and they will update everywhere.
We do not store a "preferred specialty" or "preferred band" on your profile. Practice tests, AI Coach, and Virtual Labs let you pick specialty and band each time you start a session, which keeps the platform flexible — Band 5s applying for Band 6 promotions, rotational trainees, and those reviewing across specialties all use the same account without juggling preference settings.
If you'd like a default specialty/band remembered between sessions, email us and we'll add your vote to the feature request.
Look for the sun / moon icon in the top navigation bar (it sits between the Search icon and the Notifications bell on desktop; inside the menu on mobile). Click it to open a small menu with three options:
A small tick appears next to the option you have selected. The choice is stored in your browser, so different devices can be on different themes. Both themes meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast on every interactive element — see Mobile and Accessibility.
Open the user menu in the top navigation (your avatar / initials in the top-right on desktop, or the hamburger menu on mobile) and click Log out (desktop) or Logout (mobile). This signs out your current browser only.
We do not currently have a self-serve "Sign out everywhere" button. If you think someone else may have signed into your account on another device:

We acknowledge most bug reports within 1 working day and prioritise based on severity. Anything that blocks taking a Practice Test, accessing Premium features you have paid for, or logging in is treated as urgent.

We keep a public-facing roadmap of major items; everything else feeds the quarterly planning review.
We treat accessibility regressions as bugs and prioritise them — see Mobile and Accessibility for what to include and our SLA (2 working days to acknowledge, 10 to fix).
