Using the App
Every HCPC-registered Biomedical Scientist must keep a record of continuing professional development and may be selected for a CPD audit. The CPD log at /cpd (My training → CPD log, or the Continue row on your home page) keeps that record for you.
Training Dashboard modules and simulators you complete, AI Interview Coach sessions, and Result Interpretation sessions are added to your log with the date, the time you spent, your score and the activity type. You do not need to do anything; the entry appears the next time you open the log. Virtual Laboratory and LIMS work is not logged automatically yet, so add it yourself with Add activity.
Click Add activity to record something you did away from the platform: a course, a journal club, a supervised session, a conference, a piece of reading. Give it a name, choose the activity type, add an optional subject, the date and the time spent in minutes. Each entry has space for a reflection, which is what an HCPC audit asks for: what you learned and how it changed your practice.
Entries created by the platform can be rated and given a reflection afterwards. A short reflection on each activity is worth far more at audit than a long list with none.
From the log you can download:
Your CPD log is private to you. If you have chosen to share your training record with your organisation (Account Settings → Security), your administrators see summary figures such as modules attempted and time recorded, never your reflections.
The CPD log, adding your own activities and the exports are available on every account. Premium adds the simulators and modules that fill the log automatically.
Signed-out visitors see the CPD information page at the same address, with guidance on HCPC CPD standards and the audit process. Sign in and the page shows your own log at the top.
