NHS Application Support, Presentation Skills, and Result Interpretation
Three Premium tools sit alongside the interview-prep stack to help you turn preparation into a submitted application and a rehearsed interview.
NHS Application Support — /nhs-application-support
A guided workspace for the NHS Jobs application. It has ten tabs: Person spec, STAR, Statement, Shortlisting, VBR, Bands, Schemes, Assessment, Progress and Achievements. It helps you:
- Paste the person specification from a real advert and click Analyse with AI to break it into essential and desirable criteria
- Draft STAR-format answers for competency questions
- Build a supporting statement that aligns with NHS Values and the person specification
- Practise values-based recruitment (VBR) questions and shortlisting decisions
- Understand what each band expects and which training schemes apply

Presentation Skills Trainer — /presentation-skills-trainer
Many NHS biomedical-science interviews include a presentation followed by a Q&A. This tool gives you:
- A library of common presentation topics by specialty and band
- Guidance on structure and openings
- A Q&A simulator that asks follow-up questions the way a real panel would
- The rubric panels typically mark against, and an assessment with a PDF certificate
You do not upload slides; the trainer works from the topic you choose and notes you type. Use it after you have practised the content out loud at least once with the AI Interview Coach.
Result Interpretation training (per specialty)
Result interpretation is one of the most testable skills in interview and on the bench. Open /result-interpretation and click the specialty card you want. There are ten cards:
- Haematology: FBC patterns, blood film correlation, critical values
- Biochemistry: common analyte panels, units, reference ranges
- Microbiology: sensitivity panels, organism identification, clinical correlation
- Coagulation: PT/APTT patterns, mixing studies, factor assays
- Transfusion: group and screen, antibody panel reading, crossmatch
- Immunology: autoimmune serology, complement, flow cytometry
- Virology: serology algorithms, viral load monitoring
- Genomics: variant interpretation, NHS GMS panels
- Cellular Pathology: tissue pathology cases
- Andrology: semen analysis, sperm morphology and motility grading
