Interview Preparation

NHS Application Support

Premium feature. Open from the main menu under NHS Application Support or directly at /nhs-application-support.

This tool turns the blank "Supporting Information" box on NHS Jobs into a structured drafting environment that ties every paragraph back to the Person Specification and the NHS Values.

What it does

How to use it (5 steps)

  1. Open /nhs-application-support from the main menu.
  2. Click New application and paste the full Person Specification.
  3. Click Generate scaffold. The tool produces a starter outline with one section per essential criterion.
  4. Fill in each section with your evidence. Use the STAR Answer Builder (under Interview Prep) for competency-style criteria.
  5. Click Export when you are ready. The plain-text output preserves paragraph breaks for the NHS Jobs form.

Band-aware tone

Pick the target NHS band when you start a draft. The tool adjusts its suggestions:

NHS Values coverage

The tool flags whether each of the six NHS Values is reflected in your draft:

Aim for at least one paragraph that touches each.

Saving and managing drafts

All drafts persist to your account. Open My Drafts to switch between them, duplicate one, or archive an old role. You can also tag a draft with the role title and Trust for easier filtering.

Limitations

The tool does not auto-submit to NHS Jobs and does not access NHS Jobs directly — you copy your final draft into the live application form. It also does not share or store the role advert; the Person Specification you paste stays on your account.
